International Co-operation
TEKEL network develops international co-operation, which helps its customer companies to succeed. The technology centres have concluded co-operation agreements with partners operating all over the world. The concrete signs of this co-operation can be seen in the implementation of various programmes and projects and through visits.
In Finland, TEKEL is working to promote internationalisation. For example, the joint FinproLink network between TEKEL and Finpro Finnish helps hi-tech companies to spread out into the international marketplace. Co-operation within the network is also aiming to attract foreign companies, research organisations and investment to Finland.
TEKEL represents Finnish science parks in international forums. It is involved in such organisations as the IASP (International Association of Science Parks), and also in the global WAINOVA (World Alliance for Innovation) network, which gathers together organisations implementing science park activity at a national level.
