Finnish Science Park Association TEKEL takes part in and coordinates national programmes and networks, which exploit innovative advanced technology and top-level expertise.

TEKEL is an associate member of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP). TEKEL takes an active part in IASP operations, and has a representative on the IASP board. In 1992 and 2006, Helsinki played host to the IASP International Congress.

TEKEL is also a full member of the global WAINOVA (Word Alliance for Innovation) network, which gathers together organisations implementing science park activity at a national level.

Centre of Expertise Programme (OSKE) is a special state-funded programme, which directs action at areas of key national significance. The programme is based on the exploitation of expertise at the top of the international scale in the areas in question. OSKE offers a forum of co-operation, contacts and added-value services by gathering together companies, academic universities and universities of applied science, the public sector, and sources of funding and providers of business development services into joint R&D projects.

TEKEL and its network are closely involved in the implementation of the OSKE programme. Find out more about TEKEL and OSKE
