TEKEL Best PracticeThe best science park practice of the year must be innovative, reproductive and create added valueEvery year, the TEKEL network honours an action or project carried out amongst its membership, which has best implemented, developed or is currently developing an international or Finnish science park concept. The best science park practice of the year is by nature innovative, reproductive and creates added value, and therefore merits the name ‘best practice’. It is recognised as a significant achievement by the member centre in question. All TEKEL member centres can compete for the prize of Best Practice of the Year. The criteria of the competition allow sufficient latitude for very different, innovative perspectives. The panel judging the competition is made up of the board of TEKEL, and, if necessary, they enlist the help of experts in choosing the winners. Members of the board are not eligible to vote for their own centre in the process.
